Come experience the exciting technique that is Kurinuki. A traditional Japanese pottery technique that honors rustic aesthetics and the beauty in imperfection. A great workshop for those needing to break down those perfectionism walls.
Folks will be introduced to the traditional Japanese technique called Kurnuki. A technique where vessels are sculpted by carving away from a block of clay. This method honors the beauty in imperfection and embraces uneven and rough textures. In this workshop we will be focusing on yunoni/teacups.
All clay, tools and supplies will all be provided. Suitable for all levels, ages 16 and up.
Each cup will be glazed clear and fired - ready in about 6 weeks.
