Kurinuki - Workshop

Come experience the exciting technique that is Kurinuki. A traditional Japanese pottery technique that honors rustic aesthetics and the beauty in imperfection. A great workshop for those needing to break down those perfectionism walls.

Kurinuki is a subtracting technique, where you begin with a small chunk of clay to carve and sculpt your piece. In this workshop we will be focusing on yunoni/teacups

All clay, tools and supplies will all be provided. Suitable for all levels, ages 16 and up.

Each cup will be glazed clear and fired - ready in about 6 weeks.
