This is a 8 week intermediate study — for students who have a grounding in hand building but wish to explore their craft further. Must have some knowledge of the ins and outs of drying process, coil and slab building, attaching, and glaze. I do not expect you to be an expert! (:

This class is designed for students who want to dig into some meatier projects. Some examples are mug or plate sets, sculptural works, a collection of ideas, and more intricate ideas.

Much of this class is self directed there will be no demos, just guidance and lots of support and encouragement along the way. Students will be provided with a list of intermediate project ideas if they are in need of some structural guidance.

The studio is located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle 1423 10th Ave Seattle, WA

Included: 8 week hand-building class, clay, firing, glazing and tools in the studio for your use. Open studio access.

Payment Plan: If you are in need of a payment plan please don’t hesitate to reach out! I offer 50% down and then the remainder 50% is charged 10 days before class. (If this doesn’t work - still reach out and we can make something work!)
